Here’s a quick look at my exhibition space from the 3rd year & Btech Graphic Design Exhibition!
I recreated my workspace from home in order to give the viewer a look into the world of a paper toy designer and collector. My world :D Overall, I displayed 20 paper toys, including 9 originals and 3 customs. The MudMonsta and Big 5 paper toys came in a series of 3 and 5 variations, respectively.
Accompanying the paper toys were the supporting campaign elements, including three double-sided workshop posters, t-shirts, posters, stickers, and a series of 15 postcards. On the computer was the Urb-Ski Paper Toys website, which displayed some of my process throughout the year. Once the computer fell asleep, the series of desktop wallpapers came on, as a screensaver, as I transferred the elements across various media.
Included on my table was a mock-up of the packaging and format I would use if I were to mass produce and sell the Big 5 Simple Paper Toy Series.
To the right of my display was a series of 4, framed, A5 posters and a cardboard bin, containing my paper toy, construction process.

I was only testing the market with the Urb-Ski Paper Toys T-shirts, but I have plans to select a few designs to screenprint for an upcoming exhibition. So, we’ll see how that goes and I will keep you updated!
